Inspect, Reverse-Design, and Verify Every Part
From first-article inspection to recreating tooling without drawings, we bring dimensional scanning and inspection to your shop floor — so parts, fixtures, and tooling are measured, modelled, and verified against spec.
Where 3D scanning pays off in manufacturing
Reverse design
Recreate parts, tooling, and fixtures with no drawings — scan the original and get a clean, manufacturable CAD model.
First-article & in-process inspection
Verify that machined and fabricated parts match spec, with full dimensional reports.
Tooling & fixture recovery
Rebuild worn jigs, dies, and fixtures to accurate geometry before they fail completely.
Quality & QC documentation
Colour-mapped deviation reports that show exactly where a part drifts from nominal.
What you walk away with
Registered point cloud & mesh
A precise digital capture of the part or tool you can measure any time.
Manufacturable CAD models
Parametric, production-ready models for machining, casting, or fabrication.
Reverse-designed geometry
Undocumented parts rebuilt to accurate, tolerance-aware models.
Inspection reports
Dimensional comparison against CAD or a reference, with deviation maps.
How a scan project works
On-site scan
We scan your part, tool, or fixture on the shop floor and capture its exact geometry.
Register & process
We stitch the scans into one accurate, measurable point cloud.
Model & deliver
We turn the data into the exact CAD model your project needs.
Why manufacturers work with Creative GOAT
Manufacturing tolerances leave very little room for error. A fixture that is a few millimetres off creates scrap. A reverse-designed part that does not match the original geometry fails on assembly. A first article that gets approved without proper dimensional verification can mean an entire production run of non-conforming parts. Creative GOAT exists to reduce those risks with measured data instead of estimates.
Reverse design is one of the most common requests we handle for manufacturing clients. When a die, jig, or fixture wears out and the original drawings no longer exist, the traditional answer is manual measurement — slow, prone to error, and often inadequate for complex surfaces. We scan the original, extract the geometry, and hand back a clean CAD model your shop can work from. Most reverse design projects are completed within five business days, depending on complexity.
We also support fabrication shops that need shop drawings validated before cutting material. Scanning a completed weldment or structural assembly and comparing it against the CAD model catches deviations before they become problems on the installation site.
In addition to inspection and validation, Creative GOAT provides fabrication services for clients who need accurate, build-ready parts and assemblies. Our fabrication support includes custom brackets, fixtures, frames, equipment components, structural parts, and one-off or low-volume fabricated solutions. Using accurate scan data, CAD models, and dimensional requirements, we help manufacture parts that fit properly, function correctly, and match the original design intent.
Creative GOAT works with precision machining shops, structural fabricators, plastics manufacturers, and custom equipment builders across Canada and the United States. Whether your need is a single part measured, a full tool library documented, or ongoing inspection support for a production run, we scale to what the job requires.
